BCS
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 1 Alabama v. No. 2 Texas: Three hours from now, the finale of the 2009 college football season will be under way in Pasadena, and this year's National Title game will get no complaints from me. Two teams, both 13-0, who are the most deserving of being in the title game.
GMAC
BOWL
Central
Michigan v. Troy: Just a quick blurb on this one since it's retarded to have a
non-BCS bowl game on Jan. 6.
When I
asked Ben who he was picking in this game, he said LeFevour. That's about
right. Dan LeFevour will be the difference in this game and he will end his
14-year college career with a bowl win and a 12-2 season.

ORANGE BOWL
No. 9 Iowa v. No.11 Georgia Tech: The deceptive, uncommon offenses, such as Paul Johnson's triple option at GT, can be very hard to prepare for, considering you do it just once a year. If anyone can be ready for it, it's the stout defense of Iowa.
FIESTA
BOWL
No. 3 TCU v. No.5 Boise State: I have talked to a few people that think this is going to be a great matchup and that it's good for college football and all that stuff, but Ben and I couldn't disagree more. When you have a great team, like TCU (or Utah last year, or the 2006 Boise team) you want to see them play the big dogs, like those other two teams did. Boise is very good this year, but TCU is an elite team who could hang with Texas, Florida, Bama, etc...
A couple of directional schools going at it. If S. Florida still had our man Matt Groethe then this may be worth watching for his last game as an eleventh-year senior. As it is you have mediocre offenses and defenses battling it out. It's hard to pick Northern Illinois when we haven't seen them play all year and there is no standout player on the team. Let them prove us wrong.
