BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

No. 1 Alabama v. No. 2 Texas: Three hours from now, the finale of the 2009 college football season will be under way in Pasadena, and this year's National Title game will get no complaints from me. Two teams, both 13-0, who are the most deserving of being in the title game.

These two teams are quite interesting in the fact that I find them similar. Both hit lulls at points where they looked very beatable and they escaped losses against decent/good teams. Texas edged out Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Nebraska, and actually got challenges for more than a half from Wyoming and Colorado.

Alabama sneaked out wins against Tennessee, LSU and Auburn and was pushed by Virginia Tech.

They are also similar because the defenses are very stout. This of course is no surprise for Nick Saban's squad, but Texas being so dominant on that side of the ball is a bit of a surprise. The Longhorns were pretty bad defensively in 2008, but defensive coordinator Will Muschamp has tightened things up.

They both have Heisman candidates, Mark Ingram for Alabama and Colt McCoy for Texas, so the flash on the offense is there.

But make no mistake about it, this game will be won with defense. I'll be surprised if either team gets in the high 20's, and very surprised if someone cracks 30.

With that being said, I am sure that Ben and I agree that Bama's defense is a bit more physical, is more tough and should lead the Tide to their first National Title since 1992 when Gene Stallings was leading the way.

Picks

Matt: Alabama

Ben: Alabama

Hi, cool site and informative post... Thank you! If you're into Pre-Workout mixes, you try White Flood! It is calorie-free (and carb-free) and the electric lemonade flavor tastes riduculous. Let me know your opinion of our new site for it. I'd also be down to trade blog writing or links with you - let me know if you're interested. Anyhow... I'm subscribed to your Blog feed now so more often!

While Analytics shows the references and keywords really applied to click to your website, Google Webmaster tools also indicates the relevant top keywords along with your search place even if they didn’t result in any visitor clicks (statistics tab -> query stats). This frequently shows up numerous searches being utilized that you may not have reckoned before allowing for you to add more of these keywords to your subject matter and capture more visitors. For example, although my internet site is about a B&B in the Cotswolds I can see I am rating an average spot 9 in Google for the search “highest place on the cotswold way”. The other thing I do is likely bordering on mad but every time I get about a computer I launch a search engine and issue a search using my preferred keywords. I then find my site in the final results and click on it. I’m sure this makes the search engines think my website is the applicable site to go utilizing these keywords and as such betters my results position.

Hey, I just found your blog - thanks for writing. Just wanted to let you know that it’s not showing up correctly on the BlackBerry Browser. Has anyone else had this problem?

Webmaster bots makes earning money online MUCH easier!

Can anyone recommend a good search engine optimisation company? theres a mound of them, some people say use who shows up first in google when you type in seo which kind of makes sense but I'm not sure. Any help or advice would be appreciated. I'll check back regular for responses.
