It's only natural that top notch programs from BCS conferences will jump Boise State as the season goes on, even if the Broncos stay unbeaten.
But why did was it Virginia Tech in the AP Poll and not USC? Were voters really more impressed with VT's eight-point win at Duke, more than USC's 30-3 win at Cal?
Well, USC made the leap in this poll. Check it out.
The Trojans are No. 5 and appear to be back on track. In our poll, Virginia Tech dropped a spot. You gotta beat Duke by more than a touchdown, plus they aren't all that great.
As you can see, we're still skeptical of Cincinnati. Oregon and Miami are on the rise while Oklahoma's National Title hopes are dashed.
Houston, Michigan and California drop from the rankings, as we welcome back Utah and we also welcome South Florida and Nebraska for the first time.

1. Florida
2. Texas
3. Alabama
4. LSU

Gotta start giving Cincy their due and Boise State should have stayed put!! VT is too low and Iowa is to high but I really like comparing your poll to the major polls. It's fun. My poll would be different I guess everyone's would be.
