There is a new No. 1.
I almost moved Florida back above Alabama, but decided not to penalize the Tide for a bye week. They have this week against LSU to sort things out.
So, because I left Florida behind Alabama and moved Texas up, the Longhorns are the new No. 1.
TCU and Boise State both climb one spot, while Oregon jumps to No. 6 after absolutely dismantling USC.
We welcome three new teams to the bottom of the poll, with Arizona, South Florida and Auburn rounding things out.
