USC climbs to No. 2 thanks to the huge BYU win over Oklahoma. Speaking of the Cougars, they jump from No. 21 to No. 12, one spot above the Sooner team they beat.
California looked very impressive, making a seven-spot jump all the way to No. 7. Notre Dame climbs into the poll, and the Lane Kiffin led Volunteers just missed out on jumping in (thanks to me.)
Oregon was punished the way it should have been for being completely lackluster in Boise. They drop from No. 9 all the way out.

BYU should be #10 and bosie state #12 - the game in texas was pretty much a home game for the sooners just a little more i think
Agreed. BYU should be in the top ten. I guess they had a long way to climb so it makes it harder but still they deserve it. Nearly a true road game for the Cougars and in my mind it was. Pretty solid rankings for the most part I think.
Perhaps, Boise State is ranked higher because they are actually a better team than BYU. Just a guess.
Either way, nice upset win for the Mormon Nation, indeed.
